A different view of Bromley town centre plans (Feb 09)
Bromley Council is in the process of drawing up plans to change the town centre over the next 15 years and is consulting residents about ideas for more shops, more homes and other plans.

Bromley Friends of the Earth has a different view of what the priorities should be and have sent this submission to the council:

SOS - Save Our Store (Jan 09)
When Marks & Spencer announced that its Biggin Hill store was to close for economic reasons, Bromley FoE realised that it would not only inconvenience local residents, but it would add to road congestion and air pollution because people would have to travel 20 to 30 minutes by car to reach other shopping facilities.
